Clare has over 10 years experience in nutrition and lifestyle interventions for wellbeing.
Continued personal and professional education has developed Clare's unique service which is individual to each client. Clare's approach draws on her extensive knowledge of human health and nutrition, and utilises her practical coaching and mentoring skills acquired throughout her working life to date, including over 10 years as a qualified Nutritional Therapist and 25 years as a qualified accountant.
Personal and professional experience has deepened Clare's interest in the power of emotions on physical health and she is currently studying for a diploma in psychotherapy to further enhance her ability to support individuals to improve their emotional and physical wellbeing.
By combining these skills with a solid understanding of a wide variety of complementary health therapies she provides a unique approach to supporting clients to grow their own physical and emotional wellbeing and propel their health to new heights.

Whilst we can all appreciate this definition of wellbeing from the dictionary, our personal experience of it is actually quite a difficult thing to define. Your experience of wellbeing will be as different and unique to you as mine is to me.
Wellbeing is an active state; one which changes and fluctuates on a daily basis doing so in response to a variety of external and internal influences that are personal and unique to each of us.
In order to live our best life; to achieve our personal definition of wellbeing, we must at least have a body that is full of life and a mind and spirit that is clear, focused and energised. If that describes you, then hats off; you're well on your way and you are unlikely to need to see someone like me right now.
More often than not, despite striving hard to achieve the lifestyle we want with the people who are important to us, experiencing a consistent state of optimum wellbeing is difficult. Being able to respond positively and genuinely to natural greetings of "how are you?" is not so easily done.
If however you are not feeling your best self, are fed up with feeling tired all the time or have niggling health concerns that you want to get on top of, the Vertical Me approach to long term habit and lifestyle change may be just what you need.
